We offer competitive benefits including health insurance and 401k. Our wage scale is between $18 and $34 starting, based on experience and additional qualifications. Each application will be reviewed by TR Concrete's Masonry Superintendent. Once applications are reviewed, qualified applicants will be contacted by the Masonry Superintendent for a phone interview.

Pre-employment drug screen is required of applicants. Employment offer is based on completing a CRT physical fitness test.

 

MASONRY LABORER

Elk River, Minnesota

Job description:

We are currently looking for dedicated and hard-working individuals with 2 or more years of experience to join our team as a Mason Laborer. We provide a fun work atmosphere, with a team-oriented, positive attitude. Come join an industry leader in commercial concrete and masonry work. This position requires tend masonry operation which includes mix mortar and corefill, build scaffolding and stocking brick and/or block to the masons.

Project Foreman/Trade Superintendent

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to move materials and equipment weighing up to 80+ pounds
  • Repetitive use of hands for simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation required
  • Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, ladder and stair climbing and occasional crawling and twisting are a must to perform the basic functions of the job
  • Must have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Must be able to follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Qualified applicants must possess valid driver's license, reliable transportation of their own, and must have their own hand tools and bring them on a daily basis
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Must keep busy and be productive
  • Must be able to follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Must be able to meet or exceed daily quotes
  • Must have the ability to work long hours
  • Must meet or exceed our quality standards
  • Reliable transportation of their own to job sites
  • Maintain a clean jobsite, pick up all tools and equipment and secure jobsite each day
  • Material loading and unloading, hauling and hosting of materials
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
  • Some knowledge of first aid

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Keep supervisor informed of known actions, written or verbal, which may affect the ability to successfully perform assignments or adversely affect Company operations.
  • Provide other support whether apparent, required or needed.
  • Complete additional projects as developed and assigned by your supervisor or management.

Qualifications:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Experience and knowledge:

  • 2 years of concrete work experience

  • Heavy Work Exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects

Employees must provide for daily use the following tools for this position:

  • Hammer holder, tape measure, Claw hammer, Tie pliers, short handle shovels, utility knifes, gloves and Pencil
